Well I'm sure no expert on Honda's, but a guy who I know, bought this V-F 1100 brand new. It has sat idle for over a year , or maybe even closer to two years, and he can't ride anymore. Anyway...I ended up with it, and have absolutly no need for it whatsoever. I had a mechanic friend come over, and he got it going again. The battery is old, so he jumped started it. He ran it down the street, and through all the gears, and says its a very mechanically sound unit. It may need a fan switch, and lots of cleaning and detailing. The worst part is, the seat is weathered, and the headlight has a crack. The gas tank is verry clean inside. It has a couple of dings and scratches but is a very nice looking bike overall. It has just 27,900 miles on it. The original owner says it's a great bike and he had zero issues with it. My opening bid is $1,275.00 with no reserve. I have a clear and open Colorado title for it. Its not perfect, but I can't imagine finding a lower mileage, almost 100% original, and very much un-molested, v-65 for the price. This bike is 25 years old and being sold as-is. I would rather you plan for the worst, and hope for the best, than be disappointed in any way. Now... all that having been said, I'm confident the winning bidder will be pleased with this bike. Term of sale I can not ship..... This means I can not crate, box, disassemble, or deliver to a shipping company. I will however be more than happy to assist your shipper, however I can.
