First year for the Monte Carlo. 1970, 350 motor that runs smooth and strong with zero smoke. Auto trans is strong and shifts perfectly. Originally pale yellow, but repainted in the mid to early 90's. There is absolutely zero rust. Been stored most of its life. Interior is almost perfect. Dash pad looks brand new along with the door panels which also look brand new. Carpet has very minimal ware with some fading in a few spots Headliner is pretty good with a couple small holes around the upper seat belt clips. Car is equipped with all of the seat belts and they are also perfect. Front and rear seats are 95% perfect The complete fuel system has been replaced from tank to rebuilt original four barrel carb. Brakes were completely rebuilt down to the emergency brake cables. Front rotors have zero wear and pads are 75% Dual exhaust is at least 15 years old but is in excellent condition down to the tail pipes. Original ralley wheels with Cooper Cobra GTS 215/70/15 tires that have 90 tread. This car is equipped with the stock AM radio that works perfectly. Tilt steering that is nice and tight. Factory A/C that works but could use a charge. Rear defogger is there but the switch may be bad. All of the glass on this car is exceptional. Wind shield is perfect along with the rear glass. Brand new front shocks. This car drives as nice and smooth as any car we have owned. An absolute pleasure to drive. The lucky new owner of this car will want to fly over and drive this home. I would not hesitate to take this car cross country!! It would be a real treat to tour the states in this car. Still some more fun to be had making this car perfect. Could use a battery tray, this one is broken. There is an oil leak from the cam chain cover. As i said earlier the car has been repainted a nice silver but there was not alot of attention taken to detail. It looks great and still shines but close up you can see the imperfections. All of the panels are 100% rust free and very straight. If this car was stripped down and done right it would be the perfect show Carlo. I personally would drive it as is.
