Vehicle Detail

This is a 1965 Ford-Lotus Cortina chassis plate, build plate, clear WA State title and parts, that comes with a 1966 English Ford Cortina GT roller. The Lotus Identity is known by the Lotus Cortina Registry and so will be known as a re-shelled car. BA74ED59981 Perhaps you own a Cortina Lotus and would never think of racing it. Here is a chance to buy all the parts, and then some, to build a car you can be comfortable driving on the street, or racing on the track. The car is a roller that has had the front inner clip professionally replaced with new Ex-Pressed panels to factory drawings and specs. Floors, trunk, look good. Sills have had work begun on them, new Ex-pressed sills are tacked in place, but will need more work as well as the inner quarters. Some lower quarter-panel patches already welded in. GT trim holes filled with filler. Tire well is, well . . . not well. The original Ford-Lotus was too rusty to be saved, so important parts were cut out to patch into the donor car. This is a major project, will not be parted out, and the buyer must accept and ship all parts to their location. Can't guarantee that all parts from either car are in this package but there are a lot of duplicate parts, and more than what is listed here, so you can recoup costs by selling off extra parts. The car and parts are sold "as is". Beside the roller, it comes with an extensive list of used and some new parts including: Rebuilt Kent 1500 120E, four-bolt crank and flywheel, rods, new .030 over pistons, tin, by receipts it looks like short block was completely rebuilt, was never installed, and sat in tubs since and has some rust on the top of the bores. Engine stamped: 122E 5J3A Lotus Twin Cam Weber head with cams, sprockets, caps, valves, springs, buckets Early Lotus cam cover ( L O T U S on each cam cover facing out) Lotus Twin Cam timing chest 4 to 2 Twin Cam headers Two 40 DCOE Webers Original Lotus Cortina/Elan air intake box Extra pair of struts that should be the Lotus Cortina struts Rear leaf-springs I assume are from the Lotus A rough Lotus Cortina transmission tunnel to fit the two-piece drive shaft One two-piece Lotus Cortina drive shaft (one-piece Ford Cortina drive shaft too) The Lotus Cortina trunk floor hump to patch in 2 front subframes, one in the car and the extra I assume is from the Lotus .875 inch front sway bar .75 inch front sway bar on car 2 steering columns one GT? one Lotus? And I mean a lot. Happy to answer questions with a couple of days notice. Items sold "as is". A deposit is required within 48 hours of the auction ending. Buyer pays all shipping for car and parts. Will ship only after funds have been received. Not all parts fit in the car so will have to be packed separately so you should consider auto transport using an enclosed trailer.
