1998 Ford Crown Victora Police Interceptor ******NEW LOWER PRICE/ CONTACT ME FOR OFFERS******* I will keep details short and to the point. Between my fiance and I we have three cars and are looking to get rid of one. These cars are great on short trips but even better on the HIGHWAY! I drove this car from Indianapolis to Houston with no problem! MPG were even affordable. I love these cars, but have been getting too much attention. People drive really slow when I am behind them. Non smoking/pet car! Very dependable 1998 P71 (unmarked unit) I purchased 2 Years ago from a Sheriff's son in Illinois. This car runs great in the winter with nice and warm heat, and freezing a/c in the summer times. Replaced oil and filter every 3 months. New wipers, tires, headlights, taillights, center console. Came with radar detector. Working dome light. Tints are 17%. Full size spare in trunk. Factory speakers. WORKING SPOTLIGHT. +6 cup holders! This car has been regularly maintained since I purchased it. Never been in any accident or theft incident while in my possession. Recently got alignment service, oil and filter change, tire rotation, and brake inspection. Although the Vic was fresh off the force, I used the sedan as a family car. It actually does pretty well on gas. Former High Way Patrol Sherif drove the car for almost 8 years.. has 147XXX miles on it I bought with 143XXX miles, I assume most of them were highway. Drives smoother than most vehicles I've bought and never quits! Very fast car, sometimes I have to check the meter because the speed limit may be 50mph and Im going 80mph (LOVE IT!). Installed glass packs to give it a quiet roar! The breaks may need replacing after another 6 months. Holes near dashboard from police equipment. The ABS light is on, my technician said the driver wheels ABS plug may be unplugged. I never looked into it because it does not hurt the car, and Indiana/Houston does not have the need for ABS. Easy fix I never got around too. The gas gauge may be inaccurate from time to time, but after a few minutes the gauge is accurate. Also you might consider a paint job, this is an old vehicle, it has minor scratches, dings and rust. Overall looks nice! The camera never lies :) ***NO TECHNICAL MALFUNCTIONS OR LEAKS, RUNS EXCELLENT*** THE ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION ARE IN FINE WORKING ORDER. THE RELIABLE AND POWERFUL 4.6L V8 STARTS RIGHT UP AND RUNS SMOOTHLY. ALL ENGINE ACCESSORIES APPEAR TO BE WORKING PROPERLY WITHOUT EXTRA NOISES OR PROBLEMS. THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT IS CLEAN AND NO LEAKS ARE VISIBLE. ALL INTERIOR OPTIONS WORK INCLUDING POWER WINDOWS, POWER LOCKS, CRUISE CONTROL, SONY CD PLAYER ETC. BOTH FRONT SEATS ARE PROFESSIONAL GRADE CLOTH BUCKET SEATS WITH NO RIPS OR TEARS. THE OVERALL BODY OF THIS VEHICLE LOOKS GREAT. THERE ARE MINOR RUST SPOTS NEAR THE FRONT TIRES AND DOOR PANELS, NOTHING MAJOR. FOR A 1998 POLICE CAR, I THINK THE PAINT IS EXCELLENT! THE VEHICLE IS IN GOOD SHAPE AND SHOULD PROVIDE YOU WITH GOOD SERVICE FOR A LONG TIME. WOULD MAKE AN EXCELLENT EMERGENCY SERVICES VEHICLE. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THIS IS NOT A BRAND NEW VEHICLE AND YOU SHOULD NOT EXPECT IT TO BE PERFECT. IT IS A NICER FULLY EQUIPPED POLICE PACKAGE VEHICLE THAN MOST YOU WILL FIND AVAILABLE.
