Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Thank you for looking at our 1972 Lincoln Continental 4 Door, white on white on white. The vinyl top is in really decent shape considering that it is 40 years old. The paint job on the car is very nice, but there are door nicks that are touched up. The back trunk had some peeling paint that was touched up. The right lower fender in the middle has a small and tiny hole that was not touched up. All the door jams, (as you can see in the pictures), are very clean. The motor and motor compartment is all original and not detailed. We’re going to let the new owner have the fun of laying out the motor and everything under the hood. The air conditioning needs a belt but it does turn freely. All power options on the car seem to work well. The car drives really, really nicely. In the morning, the car starts right smoothly as can be as it drives gracefully down the road. If you’re not looking to be noticed, don’t buy this car, because people will be looking at you from the time that you pull in until the time that you pull out. This is not your everyday car, and I’m sure that’s the way you want it to be. If you have a chance, please come look and drive this vehicle personally. Once you are the last bidder of this car, you are the owner of this car, which means when you come out to pick it up it’s about picking it up, not checking the car out to see if you want to buy it or not. If you can’t personally come out and drive the car, please send a friend or a mechanic form the area to check it out to make you totally confident in your purchase. If you have any questions about anything, feel free to call me at 216-598-7011 and I will promptly respond to you. We are selling this car as-is, which means that when you buy it, you own it, with all faults known or unknown. We will not pay to have this car shipped, but we will assist your shipper in picking up the car. Along with the purchase price of the car you will have to pay a $100 paperwork fee ($18,50 if you need a 30-day tag), and we will have to put this car in your name in your state, although depending which state you live in we may have to collect your county tax. The auction will run for 7 days and the car must be paid for within 3 days, although I also have the car listed locally and if I receive an offer that I can’t refuse, I can end the auction at any time. We will only accept wire transfers or cash. If you come to pick up the car with certified funds from your bank we will have to wait at least 1 week for the funds to totally clear until we do your title. Good luck bidding! On Nov-02-11 at 13:42:21 PDT, seller added the following information: ATTENTION TO ALL BUYERS: WE JUST RECEIVED THIS TITLE FROM THEN NEW CAR DEALER THAT WE PURCHASED IT FROM. IT WAS TRADED IN TO THE NEW CAR DEALER BY A TOWING COMPANY. THE TOWING COMPANY HAD TO APPLY FOR THIS TITLE, AND THE TITLE IS GOING TO READ SALVAGE REBUILT AND THE MILES WILL BE EXEMPT. WE ARE VERY SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE.
