1972 VW Super Beetle: Drive as is or great project car. Currently has new EMPI 34 pict-3 carb but is being sold seperatly. You will need a carb, reverse switch to pass inspection,new back tires, and gas tank is solid but has rust inside. This car ran great before I took it off the road. I drove it to NYC and back to western NY twice, and was my daily driver for 7 months. Approximately 500 miles weekly. I got about 27 MPG highway. All controls work (heat, defrost, signals, flashers, lights, speedo). Drove it in colder weather and heat and defroster works great. Many new parts. New 4.5" chrome rims with new tires on front. Has 5.5" chrome rims on rear. 4 new wheel cylinders and 4 new flexable brake lines. New steel brake line to the rear. New clutch kit with new gland nut. Has the 1 piece window kit in the doors. Has all new body seals and window seals. All latches and locks are functional. New exhaust and bumpers (front and back) now 2 years old. Has 1600 cc engine with SVA distributer. Generator works. Battery does not hold charge. Body is all solid except for lower rear quarter panel as seen in photos and drivers side floor pan should be replaced. A new drivers side floor panel comes with auction. Some surface rust. The interior has been gutted except for front and rear seats. I have way more money and time into this car than I'll get out of it. But to see hundreds the people punching the closest person to them saying "Punch Bug" as you drive by, PRICELESS!!! I am selling the carb seperate because the parts are worth more individually. People just look at the vehicle as just a running car. This is a great running car, solid, and very enjoyable to drive and ride in.
