1975 Honda XL 250

This is one exceptionally clean and well cared for 1975 Honda 250 XL. Just in time for the fall street or trail riding season. It's equally at home on or off road. Powered by a dependable smooth Honda 4 stroke it has gobs of low end torque. It has excellent street and trail manners. You can lug it down to just a few hundred RPMs and she will pull away smoothly and cleanly. You just don't see them in this kind of condition very often. Shes completely original as far as I can tell. A real sweetheart! When I bought the bike I sent it to my Honda dealer and they went through the carb, cleaned and adjusted it, Checked all the lights turn signals to make sure they were functioning properly, creamed (coated) the inside of the tank. They also did a complete tune up, new plugs etc. I wanted it to be as perfect as I could get it. Keep in mind this is a 35+ year old bike and it does show a little wear here and there. Probably the most evident flaw is a dent in the tank on the left side (see picture). I personally think it gives it a little character but I just wanted to mention it. A lot of these bikes get chopped up and turned into ice racers because they are light, powerful and so well balanced. This one is one clean original survivor that just needs a new home. I've tried to describe it as honestly as possible but please feel free to ask any questions. I have bought and sold many vehicles and bikes on eBay and I am very proud of my 100% positive feedback.
