Up for sale is this very clean 2001 FORD EXPLORER XLS 4x4 All wheel drive SUV! This truck is exceptionally clean inside and out, it runs and drives like a new vehicle! This truck has low miles: 63,747 to be exact and counting. This explorer has Cruise control, power locks, power windows, key less entry, alarm system, power mirrors, tilt steering, tow package and a 6 CD changer. Everything works 100% on the truck including the A/C and Heat. I am listing this truck on behalf of the owner who has now purchased a new larger vehicle for the winter season and no longer needs the explorer. This truck has had 2 owners in total; the original owner who purchased it new in September of 2000 and had it until August of 2004 using it for a total of 39,335 miles while owning the vehicle. The second and current owner has had the truck in possession since October 2004 and has utilized it until 10/10/11 putting a total of 28,000 miles (approximately) in the past 7 years. They are now selling the truck due to the purchase of a larger more commercial new vehicle. This truck has had little use in its life and that is very blatantly represented upon driving it. The suspension is tight, interior is very clean (non smoker and no pets) the engine and transmission have been very well taken care of at the local dealer, all oil changes done accordingly at the local jiffy lube (receipts to prove) with synthetic oil 5w-30. This truck has an automatic engaged 4WD system that detects slipping and automatically engages the AWD 4x4 system. It has also a 4H, 4Low and Auto trac system for the heavy winter storms. This truck does very well in heavy snow (compliments of the snow fall we received saturday october 29th 2011). The tires have 98% tread and are in exceptional shape which aid in terrible and hazardous road conditions. The body of the truck is clean, it has no rust problems (just regular wear and tear expected from a truck of its age) the paint is in great condition the under carriage is clean, has no leaks no drips, does not consume any oil or fluids. This truck has been inspected by a local shop and has a valid current NYS inspection good until 2012. The truck has been tuned up recently with new oils, coolant, plugs, and filters it has never been in any accidents. This truck was damaged in December of 2010 by a falling tree branch which broke the rear drivers side glass and damaged the rear drivers' side quarter panel and rear tailgate door. The damage was not covered by the insurance company due to the fact it was liability only. Since then the truck has been repaired; it was sent to a local body shop and the rear quarter was fixed, the rear glass was replaced, and it was repainted (quarter panel only). I am listing this truck and posting all information And pictures to the best of my ability. I will be happy to take the truck to a third party for inspection if need be, or you are welcome to come by drive it and inspect it yourself! This is a very clean very safe and reliable truck with Low miles. I have 100% feed back so bid with confidence. This explorer is adult driven, non smoker and has been well take care of.
