Up for auction is a 1960 Lincoln Premiere 4 door Landau. This Lincoln has been stored in a barn the last two decades. This is a vehicle from southern New Mexico and is nearly rust free. It has the big white wall tires that are in very good shape. This is the Premiere edition, meaning that there is roughly 1,048 of these fine luxury vehicles ever produced. It comes with the 429 CUI displacement V8 engine. The transmission has the automatic 3 speed gear box that shifts correctly. The interior is in fair condition and could use carpet and minor upholstery work to be perfect. The body is extremely straight and the paint is original color but is not perfect. It could use a tune up and fresh fuel for it has been sitting for so long. There is a small exhaust leak coming from the right exhaust manifold. This is a car that is a true luxury classic that with a few minor cosmetic and mechanical improvements would be a very sought after and desirable classic. All of the power windows and power locks work properly and so does all gauges except for speedometer. This vehicle is sold as is and where is with no guarantee.
