Here we have my 1983 BMW R100 for sale.Only selling due to recent back injury! It runs great and has a lot of power,but is not perfect! I'm selling it as is,because it has some minor issues that I can't take care of at the present time! It runs great and looks great,but it needs some frt. brake work and a new rear tire. I had the whole frt. end redone 2 years ago,but it has a scritch sound when leaning and when starting out. I think a clip may have come off the brake pad retainer and the pad is floating.I just put 300 miles on it last week and had no problem! The rear tire needs replaced! The one side cover on the Vetter bags needs some paint. This is a great bike that someone could restore or just ride it as it is! It doesn't have the toolkit,but I will include a Clymer repair manual with it. I had a lot of work done to it 2 years ago when I bought it! It has rebuilt Bings,rebuilt frt forks,all new brake hoses and cables,rebuilt petcocks,rebuilt frt.brakes and master cyl.etc....... I have all recpts. and have kept up on the maint. Look closely at the pics and ask questions! I am selling it as is and I will not deliver,but I will assist any shipping company or would help new owner to load it on his trailer. I would not hesitate to ride this home,but would not be feel safe because of the rear tire. A deposit is expected in 48 hrs. after auction end and the remainder before pickup.Thanks for looking and good luck bidding!
