Hello everyone, Henrik here from GM Truck Center, in beautiful down town Burbank. Check out our previous feedback before you bid, it speaks for itself. Now about this 96, 2500 series 4 wheel drive GMC Suburban.... This is a great looking factory Silver colored GMC Suburban, with rare factory overhead 1 Ton style marker lamps. This Suburban is fully loaded with all the LT options which include power windows, door locks, power mirrors, rear view mirror with compass, tinted windows, roof rack, cruise, tilt, leather, Dual Air, rear cargo doors, manual shifter for the 4 wheel drive transfer case, factory heavy duty tow package with 4:10 gears, and factory posi rear end. The Suburban has a great running big block Vortec 454 motor in it, it was just serviced and has lots of life left in it. The transmission is the factory heavy duty 4 L80 E automatic overdrive, it shifts great through all the gears and was rebuilt 40K miles ago, we have the receipt. This truck has the very desireable manual shifter for the factory part time transfer case, and it works great. The rear end is the factory heavy duty GM corp. 14 bolt full floater with factory 4:10 gears and a posi traction unit. The front suspension is all stock and in good shape. The rims are a set of 16 inch black steelies with all terrain type tires on them, the tires have about 20% tread left on them and are in good shape. The exterior of the truck is in good overall condition, the truck has its fair share of dings, scratches, small dents, imperfections etc.. don't forget its almost 16 years old and all original paint. The interior of the truck is in good shape, the drivers seat has a small seperation and some typical leather cracking, the carpet is a little dirty and could use a good cleaning. The dash is nice and so is the headliner, all the power windows, door locks, power mirrors, factory CD player / radio / cassette, lights etc all work fine. There is no third seat, and the rear cargo doors are missing the lower half covers, also the drivers side door lock switch is a little sticky so sometimes it will not lock electrically and you have to push the lock buttom down manually to lock the door. * The A/C is not blowing cold, the heater works great. * There is a slight exhaust leak on the passenger side. Overall this is a great looking and driving heavy duty 4 wheel drive Suburban thats ready for years of faithful service. The Suburban was just driven down here from Oregon with no problems, I would make a cross country drive in it with no hesitations. I hold a clear Oregon Title in hand and the truck is registered through February of 2012. All CA buyers will receive a current smog certificate.
