UPDATE: I just had a gentleman visit me and tell me more about this car and his opinion is that the car is only good for a parts car and offered me $4k. I don't think I agree with that assessment but I wanted it to be known to any prospective buyer. This car is back up for sale after a deal that fell through. I got this car from my mother and I had not known alot about the car. This car has a salvage title, a softball size whole in the floor just behind the front wheel well, the front end of the car has rusted away where the support bar for the tow hook attaches,it appears that the car may have been hit in the rear as the door spacing is not the same on both sides of the car. There is bondo on the door jambs and the area in front of the rear wheel well. Under the decklid there is rust where the dual steel wall runs under the space where the weather stripping sits. I have not been able to get the hood open. The engine does run but has a fuel leak from one of the carbs. The passenger wing window is broke, one of the headlight lenses is broke and as seen in the pics the hood is pretty well rusted. VIN # 303594 Production year: 1965 DO NOT SEND MONEY OR CONSIDER BUYING THE CAR WITHOUT INSPECTING IT AS ANY DEPOSIT THAT MAY BE NEGOTIATED WILL BE NON REFUNDABLE. This is a very desirable car even in the condition it is in. I had a third party buyer put up a non refundable deposit but without due diligence when it came to inspecting the car so when he showed up he wanted to renegotiate the price. When I did not want to take the price they offered they tried to take back the deposit and give me $0. He told paypal that I mailed them an item that was not describe right (which was false) and tried to keep the deposit.....needless to say that Paypal saw that they were wrong and denied them a refund.
