Up for auction is this very nice Ford F-250 4X4 Extended cab long box. Before purchasing this truck the front axle was completely gone through. New ball joints; upper and lower, new seals and bearings, new axle joints and new lock-outs. Also the transmission was replaced along with a new clutch. I believe the exhaust stacks were professionally installed; they look real good and sound nice. Since owning the truck we've performed the necessary maintenance and replaced several items due to normal wear. The oil has been changed close to every 3000 miles. The ball joints, steering and all the u-joints were greased frequently. New batteries along with a new alternator were replaced. The truck did have a chip in for a time. A new computer from Ford was correctly installed by Ford. The chip has been destroyed. The glow plug relay and heating element under the filter have also been replaced with new. New tires were installed a year ago and have around four thousand miles on them. This truck has been driven back and forth from work by my son for the last year and a half. I owned this truck for awhile then sold it to my son, well him and the bank. So now he has come to the conclusion that maybe it was not such a good idea to have such a big loan. I have purchased another truck so I don't need it. My son will be happy to show the truck to anyone at almost any time. Feel free to call either one of us. Seems a little weird, the title in my hand has nothing pertaning to that. I have been somewhat of a machanic and parttime body man and looked this truck over puirty well in the time I have owned it. I see nothing to justify this histery of the truck. .
