It has 61,000 highway miles and has no mechanical or cosmetic issues. I purchased the bike in 1999 with 4,000 miles, and I have added the following to make it a perfect touring bike: · Ohlins Suspension front and rear · Remus Performance Exhaust (145hp) · Lowered pegs · Bar-backs · AeroFlo screen · Corbin custom leather seat with matching passenger backrest · BMW top case· Foam grips · Throttle lock · Custom paint (Chris Wood, Santa Barbara, 1999) Custom painted factory hard cases Moto-Lites halogen auxiliary lights All service records up to date This bike has no mechanical issues. There are some very small rock chips in paint as you would expect for a bike with this mileage. The bike has always been in a heated garage, and covered during overnights while in use. At 71, I have decided to move to a smaller bike. I have maintained the bike to factory specs and beyond. Oil changes have been every 300 miles, and premium synthetic oil has always been used. All engine adjustments have been done on schedule. No drive line issues have ever been experienced. In 2010 I added the Unigo Trailer, and it has made touring a much more pleasant experience. I carry all my camping gear in the Unigo s well as my clothes and incidentals purchased along the way. Because the trailer leans with the bike, it is very stable and does not significantly change the bikes cornering characteristics. It tows easily at highway speeds, and does not decrease mileage which remains at about 40mpg. I am selling the bike and trailer as a complete package. I will not sell the bike or trailer separately.
