1988 Honda

For sale is an awesome enduro bike. I've had it for the past 4 years or so and have always performed all the necessary maintenance. I just finished repainting all the fairing flat black and they are looking slick. Mechanically the bike is as solid as it gets: starts at a button push every time and runs like a charm: It gets about 80 miles per gallon, yet still rips as far as speed. I've ridden it on highways a bunch. I haven't taken it too far past 80 mph, however it cruises at 65 pretty easily (6 speed transmission is quite awesome as it offers a good range). At the same time I was able to take it on some dirt trails and even jump it a bit. The only bad parts about the bike that I can think of are: left front fork seal might be leaking (though it doesn't make the bike unrideable by any means), the right mirror is broken off at the mount ( I have the mirror and it's still good, but the mount will need to be replaced if you want to install the mirror.) and the fairings (though freshly painted) are not in the best of condition. Unlike most other enduros this one is liquid cooled and therefore offers superior reliability. The bike is very light and easy to maneuver. It's probably one of the easiest bikes to pass the M-Class license test one. All of the lights and gauges work and it comes with a clear title. I'm only selling the bike because I've lost interest in motorcycles and thinking about moving. I have some pretty sweet extras to go along with the bike: an extra set of wheels with really good condition street tires, a k&n air intake (you'll need to rejet the carb if you want to run it) and probably some other things I can't think of right now. Even though the bike has over 16k miles on it it still runs absolutely beautifully. I rebuilt the head about 2k miles ago and replaced the piston along with the rings and the timing chain. It's a cool rare bike, however parts can always be found on ebay whenever needed. It has a monoshock and front disk brakes.
