1926 FORD MODEL T TOURING EDITION This vehicle was restored from the ground up by my Father. It was in excellent running condition until about a year ago when we had to pull the gas tank out of it because it was leaking. This is a great project for someone and needs very little work to get it up and running again. We also have a lot of extra parts in boxes and an extra rim (wheel) we will throw all in. Wanted to add this because of the numerous calls I have had. This 1926 Model T Roadster was owned and restored by my father former Hockey Legend and NHL Star Bill Hicke. He restored and collected antique vehicles as a hobby. This 26 model T was found in a farmers field with a Tree growing through the middle of it in the mid 70's. Over the next 15 years he restored it to at one time close to mint condition and it ran like new. However, being in Saskatchewan (where there is 3 months of summer) he only drove it about aprox 10 times a summer and less than 100 miles a year. Since it was restored it has been kept in a heated garage. My father passed away aprox 5 and 1/2 years ago and the vehicle has been in storage in the garage ever since. I started it about 2 years ago but it has not run since. The gas tank was leaking last winter so we took it out. It has a gravity feed fuel system. The vehicle is a collectors or restorers dream. It is in very good shape and would not take too much to get it running again. The body and chasis are in excellent condition. Every where there is Red Paint the condition of the car is excellent. The black is good as well except around the fends - very little rust just small scrathes and dings from moving stuff around in the garage. The canvass roof is in excellent condition (like new) and the upholstry is excellent as well. No rips or tears. It also has floor matts that are in great condition. Doors align perfectly, body is straight, no rust. Lot's of extra's on this car, for chrome step up, glass wind deflectors and mounts. We also have boxes of extra parts and an extra rim that come with the vehicle. There may be a side mount lugage screen in there as well. If you want to buy a car as a project there may not be a better 26 around than this one. Very little to do other than put in some time and tender loving care.
