LOW------RESERVE 1963 RIVIERA is a Daily Driver. The motor is a 1961 Nailhead 401c.i. that is tuned and runs great. The interior is very nice with dual door handles, electric windows, new carpet and a good looking dash. Headliner and the seats have no tears. The rear seats have a cloth insert. The older paint job looks GREAT from 10 feet away but is showing it's age when up close. The chrome is all very good. This car has the HIGHLY sought after magnesium wheel covers that bolt threw the wheels. These wheel covers can go for $600-$800 alone not counting the special wheels needed to use them. 2 center cap " R's " are missing on the passenger side. Dynaflow transmission has a minor problem. Tranny does not automatically shift down to the 1st gear at a stop sign, you must manually put it in Low then shift to Drive as needed. Other than that it works fine, Passing gear and normal driving have no issues. I talked with a '63 Rivi owner last week and he said his car has been doing that for years so It really is not much of a problem, maybe just an adjustment on the fluid regulators on those DynaFlow's. Drivers floor pan will need replaced at some point as well as the trunk pan. Please ask any question prior to bidding, Buyer is responsible for shipping or pick-up.
