Vehicle Detail

Complete 1953 Ford F-100. A very complete truck. Converted to 302 with a C4 automatic. Dana 44 rear axle. Perfect for a street rod, rat rod, or restomod project. The engine is in runable condition. It ran until the fuel pump quit a few months ago. It needs a fuel pump and fuel tank to run. The last time it was running it quit suddenly and then I smelled fuel. I assume a hunk of rust broke loose of the fuel tank and cut the pump diaphram. The engine smokes a little so I assume the valve seals are weak. The carb could use a rebuild. Transmission works well. It shifts good and has no leaks. The brakes need work. I think the right front wheel cylinder is bad. Otherwise the mechanicals seem to be good. Electricals have been converted to 12 volt. The truck has a very original interior. All the original switches and gauges are present and working. The seat is a good bench out of a 70's sedan. It has a rare original factory heater. An AM/FM Radio with speaker that came out of the dash is included. Body has typical rust issues but is overall solid. Cab corners and door corners have the typical rust, see pictures. Cab floor has some pin hole rust. The rockers have some rust, see pictures. Overall the bed is good. The bed floor is wood with all the original hardware. The wood is treated pine but cut to fit original plan. The tail gate is good overall but it has a fabricated hinge system. Rear bumper is an original unit. The wheels are original 16" x 4" with trim rings and 3 hub caps. The tires all hold air but are not serviceable. Extra wiper arms and other parts are included, see picture. Overall a great project truck that can run with a little work. The reserve is reasonable and low. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
