Complete 1959 Ford F-100 Styleside, short box. The most desirable version of the 1959 truck. Original 292 V-8 with 4 speed manual. Ford 9-inch rear axle. Perfect for a street rod or rat rod project. The engine is in runable condition. I had it running on fuel gravity feed into the carb. It needs a fuel pump and water pump to run. Starter is getting a little weak and would need to be replaced for reliable service. Valves have been adjusted and original small diameter push rods replaced. Engine has good compression. Transmission appears to be in good running order. It smoothly engages all gears. Clutch works well with smooth engagement. No gear whine from the rear axle when pushed around. Truck has the original seat that needs to be recovered. Aftermarket gauges added to the factory cluster. Has factory heater with defrost. AM/FM Radio added with speakers. Body has typical rust issues but is overall solid. Cab corners and door corners have the typical rust, see pictures. Cab floor has some pin hole rust. Some floor repairs and the floor to firewall transition. Cab steps have some rust repairs, see pictures. Overall the bed is very solid. Some rust starting a the front drain edge, see picture. Also the back of the bed has some work truck sag, see picture. The tail gate is good overall but it does have a bend from over loading. Rear bumper is a typical 50's dealer installed unit. Overall a great project truck that can run with a little work. The reserve is reasonable and low. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
