Vehicle description and condition:1969 Volkswagen Karmann GhiaParked in warm California driveway with a "weatherproof car cover" for 8 years, Started engine and driven every month.98% rust free covered California car.Good friends with previous owner.Registration is currently on non-op status with DMV, There are no outstanding fines.Smog exempt!Odometer shows 30565Actual miles 130565This Ghia has never been wrecked and has no body damage other than a dent the "size of a quarter" and 2% rust.There is no bondo (or) any body fillers on this car.Recently, I personally sanded the paint down to its original primer and primed it with 3 coats of matte flat black giving the Ghia a classic look. This Ghia was originally Orange color. I possess the current CA title, This title is salvage branded due to previous lost paperwork. In order to obtain a replacement title and sell this vehicle was to accept salvage branding. I welcome inspections of this vehicle before you place a bid. Exterior: -Matte flat black ready for paint.-Front and rear stainless steel original bumpers in good condition for its year.-All headlight, tail light and signal light lenses have no cracks.-Key doorlocks fully functional-Weatherstripping needs to be replaced.-Chrome headlight eyebrows-Chrome Karmann Ghia rear emblem-Comes with set of Cal-look front and rear window rubbers if you wish to replace original window seals.-New side mirror-Aftermarket passenger mirror comes with the car if you wish to install it. Interior:-4 speed manual transmission-Needs headliner, missing stereo.-Has new black door panels and rear panels.-Drivers seat has tears, missing passenger seat, rear seat should be reupholstered or replaced along with carpet. -Front windows roll up and down.-Rear windows open like they should.-Some simple electrical connections need to be rewired for full functionality. I will attempt to repair/rewire these connections during this 7 day auction, However I am stating the current condition.-Speedometer works fine.
