1943 ford gpw military jeep with original data plates that has aprox 95% of the necessary parts and accessories included in the auction. jeep is partially dis-assembled as shown in pictures. includes THOUSANDS of dollars in new parts - NEW parts include: new exhaust system with hardware, seat upholstery set with hip pad cussions, new strap kits, new tail lights, 2 dash switches, speedometer, fuel filter, lots and lots of brackets, reflectors, front bumper with wood insert, top bow and bow brackets, rear seat, complete gasket set, some new rubber items, choke and throttle cables, hood blocks, spare tire holder, blackout lite and guard, battery tray, bumper gusset set, and many others. includes 5 non-combat 16" rims in addition to wheels on jeep now, axe and shovel, rear trailer hitch, air filter, oil filter, rear bumper loops, jerry can holder, radiator, fuel tank and straps, tool box latches, rear foot brackets, hood hold downs, generator and regulator, all grille lights, windshield glass, and much more. the engine is post war L134 but a correct GPW engine long block (no head) is included in auction which needs rebuild. the transmission and transfer case have been rebuilt with many new parts installed. most of the removed jeep parts are stored in large plastic tubs. body has minimal rust, some is in bottom of tool boxes and a small strip at axe and shovel area. I am sure the hat channels will need some work as any gpw will. there are some metal tears and the usual extra holes drilled here and there from years of "customizing" by previous owners. passenger rear corner has been skinned over the original metal and will need to be removed, although it does not look bad if you feather the joint with filler. I am told by previous owner that it ran before partial dis-assembly due to low compression in 1 of the cylinders.
