1955 Chevrolet Bel Air 2 Door Post. ( PLEASE READ THE COMPLETE DESCRIPTION PRIOR TO ASKING QUESTIONS) This was to be my wifes daily driver for the summer, but she was worried that someone would hit her, so she seldom drove it. I removed the registration after she said she would no longer risk having someone damage the vehicle! So since she would not drive it anymore, it is time to sell it! The car went through a complete frame off rotissorie restoration, and everything was rebuilt or replaced so that it was a trouble free car for a woman to drive! The last thing I wanted was to listen about the squeak here or the funny noise there! Needless to say great expense was taken to insure no problems! The following are some of the things done and the specifications, but I know I will forget alot of what was done. 283 cu. in. motor with mild modifications 4 speed manual transmission/with zoom clutch and pressure plate Headers with Flow welded exhaust and chrome trans am style exhaust tips Complete front end rebuild Complete 4 wheel brake rebuild with cylinders,shoes, and lines. New shocks all around including air shocks in rear. Holley electric fuel pump with new lines and regulator Interior completely redone with color coded seats, carpet and headliner. Complete updated dash with modern gauges and built in dvd/mp3/cd player. New American Racing rims with BF Goodrich T/A Radials. New electrical, including alt, starter, relays etc. 3 Core aluminum radiator Etc., Etc., Etc. This is a very nice 55 Chevy, and if I did not need the garage space I would not sell the car. So this car will be sold as is, with no reserve. I will also be listing the car locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction at any time if any local interest is there.
