1955 Studebaker President Hardtop, Red & White 259 V-8 engine; runs well. 4-Barrel Carburetor. Original numbers match the engine. Automatic transmission that shifts. The glass is all original and in good condition. The interior is just passable. The seats will need recovered and carpet replaced. The body has rust in the usual places. There is a rust hole in the driver’s side floor board about 8” in size. It can be easily fixed. Similar rust is on the passenger side. Both rear fenders have rust in front of rear wheel. I have a patch for the driver’s side rear fender. The front fenders have rust on the back side, next to the door. I have a spare fender for the left front that you can cut a patch panel out of. The trunk is in good shape, with only a small rust spot. The hood and trunk lids are in very good shape. They fit very tight with no bends or dents. The hog troughs under the floor that support the body on hardtops are in excellent shape with no rust. They still have the original paint. Brakes will need attention.
