1978 Chevrolet Big Ten pickup truck Unmolested Survivor New lower Reserve and Buy it now price 48,559 actual miles. Factory Options: 350 motor with 4 barrel carburetor Turbo 350 Transmission 12 bolt rear end Tilt and Cruise control Big Ten suspension package(Heavy duty half ton, increased carrying capacity with out harsh ride of 3/4 ton - 5 lug wheels) Gauge package Air Conditioning Tinted glass Full documentation(Original owners manual, Bill of Sale, Factory build sheet, and Protecta Plate Excellent condition - Drive anywhere - Very dependable - Drives like new This truck is in excellent original condition for a 33 year old vehicle. I am the second owner it was owned by one family since new until November 2010.The truck is 100 percent stock and has not been modified in any way.It drives down the road very nicely with no squeaks or rattles. Steering is very responsive and does not pull or shudder at all. The brakes have a firm pedal and truck stops as it should. The 350 engine starts easily and runs smoothly with good power. The automatic transmission goes into gear crisply and shifts like it is new. The cruise control works correctly and all of the gauges work. The air conditioning system works correctly and has been recently serviced and fully charged with R12 refrigerant. There is an axillary gas tank on drivers side. I think this may be a dealer installed option, it is on the dealer write up card. The interior is in exceptional condition. The seat has no rips or tears and looks like new. The dash pad is soft, has no cracks and is not faded. The door panels have been resprayed. I don't think the truck has ever been smoked in, the ashtray doesn't look like it has ever been used. The glass is in perfect condition with no scratches or pitting. The exterior of the truck is in very good condition for a truck of its age. The body is almost rust free. The paint is original with the exception of the tailgate and the top passenger side bed side. The floor pans, cab corners and wheel arches are in remarkably nice condition. The chrome molding trim on the sides are new. There are some minor issues with the body that I will point out. There is some minor surface rust on the bed floor. The hood has slight bend on the passenger side where it looks like a hood hinge may have gotten stuck. The hood is solid and does not flex. The lower section of the passenger side door has been repaired at some point and can be detected if you look closely. There is dent on the upper front panel of the pickup bed behind the rear window on the right side. The paint is thin on the front drivers side fender. I would encourage anyone interested to come inspect the truck in Garland, Texas 75040. I have made every attempt to accurately describe the truck, both good and bad. I will be happy to answer any questions you may have. I have also posted videos on YouTube. If you type "nconners3" in the search box all of the videos out the truck should come up or paste this link www.youtube.com/watch?v=z3Pu1tWBLjc. This truck could be made into a great street rod/custom truck or easily made into a number 1 condition stock truck or just enjoyed as is. Good luck and happy bidding You MUST have positive feedback or your bid WILL be cancelled. Sorry, new members!
