Up for sale is a 2005 blue Honda Accord LX. I am selling this car for a friend who moved to South America. She knew I had used eBay to buy cars in the past with great success, and asked me to help her out here. I paid off the car and have title in hand. I listed the car 3 weeks ago, it had some minor dents and dings on the doors and bumpers, all cosmetic, and the reserve was never reached. After the auction ended, I took the car to a body shop and had it professionally worked over. All of the dents and dings have been fixed, and as can be seen by the picture, the doors and bumpers are in outstanding condition now, looking close to brand new. PLEASE CHECK THE VEHICLE REPORT, ATTACHED TO THIS LISTING!!! The car has never, ever been wrecked in any way, not even a fender bender. The dents and dings were just careless idiots not knowing how to park or opening their doors when parking next to this Honda. All have been fixed. Please understand I am not looking to make any money on this car for myself, just the money I used to pay off the title, fix the aforementioned dents and dings, and maybe to cover my listing fees. Check out KBB.com, you will see that this car even in GOOD condition lists for more than $1000 than what my ask is. Now, to break down the car into 3 parts: 1. Mechanical- perfect. I paid a local mechanic that has done work for my family's cars over the years a few bucks to put this Accord on a lift, and we crawled under it. Nothing wrong. He drove it - nothing wrong. No ticks, taps, bangs, wiggles or shimmys. The car stops on a dime, steers straight, accelerates fine. If there's a problem, it hasn't shown itself. I drove it around for a week, it drives better than my mother's new 2012 Ford Focus. Not surprising, as Honda is legendary for excellent cars, of course. 86,000 miles, according to my mechanic, for a honda is "barely broken in". 2. Interior: WAY less-than-normal wear and tear. Fabric is gray cloth, on a scale from 1-10 (10 being NEW), for a 7 year old car, I would give it a 9 - check the pics for yourself. THIS A NON-SMOKING CAR!! It has never been smoked in. No tears or rips, tiny litle stain on the rear seat. You can see the pics, pretty damn neat. She has no kids, so the car has never been abused on the inside. Smells perfect, no funky odors at all. 3. Exterior/Cosmetic: Since I had the work done, I would give this an 8.5+ easy. You may still find a stray, tiny scratch here and there, but you really have to be looking. There are 2 things that may stand out (I am very picky about my cars, and even for me these would be minor to nothing) that I photoed: On the thin bar above the passenger door (between the roof and door) there is a minor indentation. I have no clue how it got there, and you can't see it unless you are looking at the car from a certain angle and looking for it. The other is the hood, does have some minor chips from road salt or tiny rocks being thrown up on the highway, again hardly noticable, but I feel it needs to be mentioned. Other than that, I must say the car really looks fantastic. Bumpers look new (for all intents and purposes, they pretty much are new.) Wing/spoiler on the back gives the car a sporty vibe, as do the alloy wheels. About the rest of the car: The tires, Pirelli all-season P4's are pretty much new with less than 5000 miles on them, lots of rubber left, nice OEM alloy rims, (NO CHEAP PLASTIC HUBCAPS). Brakes were replaced all around at the same time, less than 5000 miles on those as well. Windows work perfect, as does the cruise control, ABS, no cracks or chips in the glass, AirCon pumps ice cold, there's really nothing I can find wrong. Car has front and side curtain airbags. This Accord is equipped with the factory 6-disc changer. Sounds amazing, works perfect. Also has an aftermarket Prestige alarm system with automatic doorlocks. I implore any potential bidder to ask ANY questions before bidding. I have tried to represent this car to the best of my ability. If you bid, understand it is a legally binding contract. I am not taking trades or giving a loan to anyone, no crazy low-ball offers either. I accept cash or other certified funds only.
