I am reluctantly selling my 1986 XJ6 VDP. I no longer have use for a third car so here goes........ All components and accesaries work on this car. Low low milage. A/C blows cold (had the freon recharged this summer), the stereo is a Pioneer Premier unit with pioneer speakers inside and two kenwood subs in the trunk powered by a 800 watt amp. The leather is in very good condition. The headliner was replaced by the previous owner and is an upgraded alacantra fabric. There is a dash cover in the car but its only there to protect the dash (dash has NO cracks or tears). I replaced the transmission two years ago with a used unit (it does have a very light vibration at initial take off, but is silky smooth otherwise). There is a newer battery, and I had the alternator and starter rebuild last year. The tires are about 3 years old but look brand new (I think I may have put 10000 miles on them). The dash facia/wood is in excellent condition but has started to develope light hazing on the varnish. There are two surface rust issues that plague most of these cars,.... a small spot at the right rear of car near the gas filler cap, and one right front at windshield. Both are small and I would dare say that a dealer would consider this a "rust free" car. The paint on the car is original and I would consider it a 10 footer. Upon close inspection there are light swirls and imperfections that have developed. I am selling this car in as is condition but am sure that it would pass MD state inspection by itself.
