For the true Jaguar collector, here is number 16 of the final 100 1992 Series III Jaguar Vanden Plas V12's commissioned for the Canadian market. This represents the pinnacle of the Series III V12 Jaguar model, and to commemorate the final run, these last 100 were fully specified with options unique to this limited run. Number 16 is finished in Black Cherry with doeskin leather interior with contrasting buckskin piping. It is an elegant combination befitting these final cars. It has Bosch ABS brakes, the boot mounted Jaguar CD deck, sport steering wheel (standard for these cars), the best of the available leather hides and gorgeous dark burled walnut dash. Door filets are burled walnut inlaid with Peruvian Boxwood. The engraved plaque commemorating this final run is mounted to the glovebox door. I am the second owner of this car, and it has been meticulously maintained. With just over 137,000 kilometers, the V12 runs flawlessly. Transmission shifts smoothly, and I would not hesitate to drive this car across the country tomorrow. These V12 cars give the impression of limitless power. The only flaws on the body are some bubbling around the rear windscreen, and a few small scratches in the paint. I would think a good buffing and detailing would take care of them. The car has not been winter driven, always garaged, and was repeatedly undercoated with a dripless treatment. The interior has been well cared for and it shows. These cars were essentially hand built and it is a rare opportunity to find one in this great condition. The only reason for selling is that I need the garage space and time to devote to my XK120 restoration. Feel free to ask questions or come and inspect the car for yourself.
