This Porsche 930 Turbo is ALL THERE. Not 50% like most of them, or 75% like the rest. This is a highly maintained car, with great upgrades and some small modifications to improve performance and appearance, but all done with the intent to keep the originality of the Porsche 930 intact. Very low miles, tons of service invoices, gorgeous cosmetics, and much much more. This car was serviced religiously, garaged, and it shows. Best of all? The selling price is more than reasonable for the quality of the car, and I’m not asking for the moon here. Just fair money for an excellent car -- Here is your new Porsche Turbo! -- Please let me stop you now if you are looking for a cheap 930. I see them all the time and I pass on buying them. Try finding one like this; super low miles, serviced, excellent cosmetics, and a great driver. NO STORIES OR SURPRISES! Sure, there may be cheaper ones. But none better at this price. Here's the deal: -- This is a 1987 Porsche 930 Turbo coupe in guards red over black leather. It has matching black carpets and headliner, and all of it is in excellent condition. This Porsche Turbo has only 51,xxx original documented miles, looks like a million bucks, and drives like a million bucks too! These photos are all taken after a wash and vacuum. No detailing of any kind yet. The worst offense of this car is that the interior is a little dusty due to the extremely low miles! – -- Exterior 9 out of 10 (I'm finicky) - Fantastic overall condition paint, body, glass, and trim. Bare metal re-spray in the OEM guards red color some years back, and the work was done to an EXTREMELY high standard. No fisheyes, no orange peel, no sand/tape marks, no overspray. If I did not tell you, you’d swear it was original paint. No dings, no dents, no scuffs, and no scratches!!! Some stone chips to headlight lenses, mirrors, and nose, but nothing to detract from the overall excellent appearance. It looks amazing, with a deep shine to the glossy red paint that's like looking into a mirror. This car looks great even under fluorescent light in a garage. No swirl marks! This car is regularly detailed with a claybar and 3-stage Zymol treatment. No cutting corners. -- -- This car has never had any accidents, and it wears all its original body panels. Even the lower side-body moldings are in great shape. Chrome, rubber, glass, trim is all very nice (some minor shrinkage to the upper windshield rubber seal). No oxidation, fade, wear, rust, etc. Headlights and windshield are clear except for the stone chips mentioned above.-- -- Look at the body panels.....they are perfectly straight. -- -- The 225/50/16 front tires have about 75% or so tread remaining. The 265/40/16 rear tires are NEW. The staggered Porsche OEM Fuchs are in very good condition, and the wheels are true with no bends. This Porsche Turbo drives straight as an arrow at any speed you choose. -- -- Interior 9.75 out of 10 – It’s like new, and it should be with being hand rubbed regularly with Cole-Haan leather shoe cream! The interior overall including all seating and door leather, seat padding, dash, console, and carpets are in great original condition. No dash cracks, carpet rips, and nearly ZERO wear on the leather (driver’s bolster shows nearly zero wear too which in these cars is very rare). Everything looks and feels near-new. No cigarette smoking ever. Sport seats with power seat bases. -- -- The door panels and trim are also in great shape, like the rest of the car. The headliner also looks like new. -- -- Even the trunk is mint. -- -- This Porsche has LSD and an extensive documented service history. At 35K miles, with a $13,000 invoice to prove it, it got rotors and pads, a 3rd gear rebuild, a center sprung clutch, a GReddy Profec B Spec II electronic boost controller set @ 0.87bar mounted discreetly in center console, a fire extinguisher mounted on rear center tunnel, and more. Between 39K and 50K miles, it got its wastegate replaced with OE unit with 20k on it, a RarlyL8 dual-out hooligan stainless exhaust, a K&N filter in place of OE airbox, new front tires (the rears will be brand new for the winning bidder), rear amber indicators, and a red fleece-lined fitted car cover. -- -- Since 50K miles, it got a Garretson intercooler w/new seal, Powerhaus headers & all new gaskets, Brian Leask adjustable warm-up regulator, VEMS AFR/exman temp gauge mounted in place of fan switch, control pressure regulator (seals/shims), plugs/wires/cap/rotor, motor mounts, two back-dated oil lines (to accommodate header install), turbo oil scavenge tank & braided line, oil return tubes (collapsible), valve cover gaskets including valve adjustment, exhaust manifold studs, battery, fuel accumulator, steering colum nylon bushing, fuel pump wiring (dual in-line fuses), 935 boost gauge w/ telltale indicator, Momo Prototipo steering wheel with new Zuffenhaus hub extender, F&R speakers in OE locations/grilles (retains OE Blaupunkt Reno headunit), key switchplate, and steering column nylon bushing. The OEM KKK 3LDZ turbocharger had zero shaft play radial/axial during header install inspection! Now do you see what I mean about “highly maintained”??? -- -- Here’s your Porsche 930 Turbo ready to cruise on a sunny day. Enjoy yourself! -- -- Electrical 10 out of 10 - All lights, switches, radio, windows, wipers, and power mirrors work perfectly. Power locks, keyless entry remote, etc. all operating properly. The HVAC system is fast to respond, and makes heat (all A/C components have been removed to save weight and were not kept). -- --Mechanically 10 out of 10 - Engine starts, idles, runs, and revs to redline in every gear smooth and strong. The manual transmission and clutch are smooth and light like new. This car runs at high speed with no vibrations or noises. NOTE: The fan duct in the engine shots has a new hose. -- -- Engine is strong and VERY eager to run, putting down 286 RWHP/320 RWT on a Mustang dyno BEFORE the headers and BLWUR were installed. The car is corner balanced with bump-steer kit. This 930 weighs 2775 lbs INCLUDING a ½ tank of fuel. More specs, such as corner heights and alignment, are available. -- -- This Porsche 930 Turbo coupe has its books, three keys w/working OE flashlights, and its service history is available per the above listing. The car has seldom seen rain ever, and never any snow. All you have to do is drive. -- -- If someone selects the buy-it-now option, I will provide the following: a second set of brand new tires, new front and rear brake pads, and Porsche floor mats. A full $200 detailing including engine bay, carpet shampoo, leather conditioning, orbital polishing, etc. I'll also include ToughGuard paint protectant. This stuff is simply amazing for durability, as it will last up to five YEARS. Dealers charge up to $695 for this stuff! That’s over $1000 in value all included at the BIN price! Wow! -- -- Nits: The stone chips mentioned above, and the following items were removed to save weight and make maintenance easier, and are not included (some of them due to upgrades to better components): all A/C componentry, 3rd brake light, O2 pump and amp; injection spider, airbox, exhaust and exhaust manifolds, deceleration valve, OE intercooler , the FUGLY bumper overriders (although all the holes have been properly fitted with body-colore plugs), and the rear wiper and motor. THAT'S IT. NOTHING ELSE.
