Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Up For Auction Is This Nice 1947 Studebaker Champion 2-Door Car; The Exterior In This Car Is In Pretty Good Shape With Normal Paint Chips, Fading, Dents, With The Biggest Dent Located Front Driver Tire Side, Dent On Passenger Door; And Behind The Driver Side Door; Other Than That The Paint Looks Pretty Good Yet And Tin Work; Mostly All Front And Rear Chrome Is Present And Most Trim Present; Has Original Studebakers Logos On Front And Back; Headlights Appear Good-Not Cracked-Chrome Good;The Windows Are In Good Shape Except The Driver Side Window Which Is Cracked; Rubber Will Need Replaced; Interior In Good Shape-Upholstery Good; Seats Good; Floor Is Covered In Carpet; Floor Appears To Have No Rust Holes-But Didn’t Rip Up All Of Carpet; All Doors Still Have Original Upholstery-Fair Shape; Ceiling Is Falling Down; Dash In Good Shape; Original Heater; Radio; Some Knobs Missing On Dash; Has Sun-Visors And Rear View Mirror; Gentleman Who I Bought From Said Car Ran Good When He Parked It In His Barn 40 Years Ago; Under Hood Has Engine And Transmission-Everything Appears Presents And In Good Shape-Doesn’t Appear Any Major Missing Or Broken Parts; I Tried To Turn The Radiator Fan With Belt Still Attached To Everything And It Did Not Turn The Engine-So Unless I Try Something Different Going To Say The Engine Is Stuck; I Do Have Some Numbers On Some Engine Parts But Not Sure Which One Means Anything; Trunk In Good Shape And Has Spare Tire And Jack And Other Misc Parts; Trunk Covered In Same Carpet-Appears To Have No Rust Holes; Overall A Very Nice 47 Champion Studebaker Car; Good Barn Find; Car Does Have Original Open Title Serial Number G266880; Would Be A Good Car To Restore; Car Is Located In Cornlea, Nebraska And Facility Does Have Loading Dock And Loader Available $20 Charge For Loader Assistance, I Also Have Older Studebakers And Other Chevy Cars Up For Auction So Check Them Out, I Have Over 100 Pictures Of This Car So If You Need More Just Email Me, Thanks Again And Good Luck! On Oct-18-11 at 06:38:10 PDT, seller added the following information: Thanks Everyone For The Questions About This Car, From What I Have Seen And Checked All I Know Is That The Knob Says 4-Speed For Transmission And That Is All I Know, Weather It Is A 3-Speed With A4-Speed Knob-I Do Not Know, Also There Is NO Clutch Pedal On The Car-So I'd Assume It Is An Automatic Transmission-I Do Have Pictures Of Nearly Every Inch Of The Car-So If You Do Need Pictures To Show You More All You Have To Do Is Ask.
