Vehicle Detail
1959 Pontiac Bonneville Safari station wagon with 68,806 original miles. Original California dry climate vehicle with original black plates. Factory: 389 V8, automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, wonderbar radio, GM accessory roof rack, spinner hubcaps, power rear window, and EZ-Eye glass. This wagon had previously been parked since 1981 in a garage in Southern California. Paperwork from 1981 shows 68,750 miles when it was parked in the garage. This wagon has been brought back to it's former glory with the following work being recently done. All new brakes: flex lines, wheel cylinders, shoes, master cylinder, and original power brake booster rebuilt. Full tune-up, new battery, rebuilt carb, new mufflers, radiator flushed, all fluids changed, and a new set of B.F. Goodrich Silvertown 8.50x14 white walls mounted and balanced. All daily use electrical items appear to be in functioning order: turn signals, T-3 headlights, brake lights, power rear window, dash lights, courtesy lights, wipers, etc. all work well. Body is in excellent shape and very straight. Paint has some blended areas from over the years but the paint is very respectable and shines well. All chrome/stainless is in good original condition. Interior is all original and in amazing shape for it's age. Original drivetrain is in good working order. Floors, spare tire well, fenders, hood, rear quarters, etc. are all dry. Original owners manual, sales brochures, and accessories manual included. Vehicle is currently non oped and titled to it's original California black plates. Clear California title included with the sale. This is a rare opportunity to get a very original 59 Bonneville wagon...they don't come up for sale often like this. The 1959 Pontiac Bonneville Safari wagon was the top of the line and the most expensive car Pontiac offered.
