For sale is this 1958 VW Beetle Cabriolet. This fully documented, fully restored Bug had no expense spared during its "body off" restoration and it runs perfect. It boasts an upgraded 1600 cc, 12 volt, dual port motor that was completely rebuilt along with a rebuilt 4 speed transaxle. Although the motor was upgraded for better performance and horsepower, all original gear train and all the original parts come with the car. All chrome are the original factory issued pieces, but were triple plated. The pale yellow paint color is the original factory color. The new convertible top was rebuilt with the correct wood bows, horsehair padding, and a "stay free" top that is canvas like but will not fade. The front and rear seats are the originals from 1958, not redone or recovered. Driven a total of 7000 miles since its restoration, this car is a very accurate example of the original factory issued Volkswagen Karmann Cabriole and is sure only to appreciate over the coming years.
