This 1966 Mustang Coupe was to be restored, but I no longer have the time to commit to the project. I bought this car in 2005 and combined it with doors, hood and deck lid from a '65 coupe I also had at the time. This car is structurally solid, straight and appears to only have some minor surface rust. This car has been garage kept its entire life and is only outside for these pictures and covered by a full tarp until sold! The body of the car is in primer condition (original exterior color was light blue) with the doors, hood and deck lid in dk. blue paint from the '65. Glass is in excellent condition and all windows crank up and down. I have completely stripped the car of the interior, dash, headliner (which was ripped and needed to be replaced), etc. This car DOES INCLUDE the stock 200 cid 6-cyl engine and the 3 speed transmission still in the car. The car is being sold as is in the photos and the engine has not started since 2009 when the rubber gas line from the tank to the tube deteriorated and the gas leaked out. The engine DID start and run prior to this event. I do have most of the parts that I removed from this car, as well as several from the '65 that I previously used for parts that can be included to the winning bidder at a negitiated price after the sale. I have 2 sets of seats, the stock '65 seats including the bucket seats, or the seats from the '66 that included the optional and very rare front bench seat. Also brand new fenders (still in the box), grilles from both years, chrome bumpers, seat belts, radios, guages, door sills, kick plates, etc. I also have another 200 cid inline 6 cyl engine and the automatic transmission from the '65 that can be negotiated also.
