Need a good, dependable car? Here She is! Her 1979 Mercedes diesel station wagon body is in good shape with no major rust problems. There is some surface rust by the back fender, though. She has a 1983 non-turbo diesel engine with a type-M injection pump, which has good compression and less than 100,000 miles. The pump on the head works and the self-adjusting rear shocks work well. The transmission is a push-rod type, one of the best automatic transmissions made buy Mercedes (not the vacuum type). She shifts well. The brake pads and master cylinder are new. Tires are in good shape. Body and interior are in good shape with normal wear. All four windows work. The heater works, but the system needs a compressor for A/C. Email us with any questions.
