Vehicle Detail
1991 Dodge Ram LE 250 Cummins Turbo Diesel. 4X4 Automatic.. This truck has spent its entire life in the State of Arizona and in the State of Washington.. It is now in California. No Snow and No Salt means NO RUST!!! The motor overheated in 1996 and DODGE factory installed a brand spankin new 1991 Factory Motor at the cost of $6,158.37 So this Million Mile Motor has exactly 84,091 miles. I have the paperwork. Yes it starts the second you turn the key. It also has the Heavy Duty Transmission cooler. It has the Dana 60 front and the Dana 70 rear with a 3.07 gear ratio. Has nice Goodyear Wranglers. The transfer case was redone 10K miles ago to the tune of $2,295.00 There are a couple thousand miles on new wheel bearings and a $600 brake job but they "squeak" pretty bad and will need to be looked at and adjusted or something.. Please know that I will not have the time to have this done before auction end. $470.95 was spent installing the Firestone Ride Rite Air Bags in the rear about 3K ago. Serviced with Rotella Oil which is the best.. A $575 Banks Stinger System was installed which doesn't make this truck "turned up" it is simply better exhaust and air flow to make the motor breathe better.. All trucks should have this! It was painted approximately 5 years ago. The 5th wheel was taken out at that time.... There are definitely some blemishes a long with a little damage on the front passenger side under the side marker light (See Pic) and a tiny dent you can hardly see in the pics on the left front that I'm positive a paintless dent removal guy could take care of. The paint still shines absulutely amazing as you can see in the pics.. The two pieces of missing trim were stolen and never replaced.. Power windows, Power locks, A/C, and cruise. The interior has it faults too. It was smoked in for a few years so it has a couple small burns. There are some specs on the driver side of the seat (see pic) which I haven't tried to extract. There is a good size "chip" in the windshield where the mirror mounts and a few other small chips, so it could use a windshield. The window button on the passenger door is pushed in. The driver arm-rest is loose and the headliner is sagging. But no major tears or stains as you can see. The necessary aftermarket gauges were installed on the dash along with the C/B radio so there are holes in the dash.... There is a small gouge in the tailgate (see pic) and the mechanism in the tailgate handle broke years ago and hasn't been fixed due to the fact that this truck doesn't haul anything... I have the Chilton Manual and numerous maintenance receipts from over the years. All in all this is still a 1991.. it is not perfect. $45,000 buys a perfect new one and all the recalls and crap that come along with it.. This thing is bone dry, and runs as good as new. I'm sure im missing a few things here and there so I will try to ad anything I can think of as the auction runs. I will help with the arrangement of shipping to anywhere in the U.S.A. This is a NO Reserve Auction.. Thank you and Happy Bidding.....On Oct-11-11 at 18:23:58 PDT, seller added the following information: The mileage on the truck was 103,809 when the old motor went.. It was not rebuilt. A NEW motor was installed. So yes there is 187,899 on the body and 84,091 on the new motor.. Thanks! On Oct-14-11 at 22:09:19 PDT, seller added the following information: Yes this is a 1991 12 Valve motor.. ThanksOn Oct-16-11 at 18:31:14 PDT, seller added the following information: Something that was forgotten but worth mentioning... The door lock was changed sometime ago so the door keys and the ignition keys are different. You obviously have to carry both keys or have a new lock installed if this would be too much of pain. If you're not happy with this feel free to cancel your bid.. Thanks again.
