This is a 1969 GTO hard top. It has a rebuilt 400 engine with the 400 turbo automatic transmission. 3.23 diff ratio. Engine rebuild - the engine rebuild included all new bearings, comp cam, new lifters, new timing chain, Keith Black pistons, all new gaskets, Edledbrock Aluminum Performer RPM heads (72cc), new connecting rods, Perfect Circle piston rings, new Melling oil pump, ARP bolts and studs, new Holly 750 carb, high performance waterpump, alumunum radiator, and much more. Over $6k invested in the engine. Less than 1000 miles on rebuild. It also has new Dougs Headers with dual 3" exaust. It runs and sounds great!!! Body - I haven't done much with the body. It was to be my next project but I no longer have the time to work on it. The frame and undercarage are very solid. I stripped down all the parts off the exterior of the body. These are the emblems, mirrors, door handles, exterior chrome parts, ect and they are all included. I have owned and stored it for 10 years in a climate controlled garage. The previous owner has done some body work. Most of the panels are solid. It appears that the rear corner panels were rusting out around the wheel wells and the previous owner used body filler to fix. These can be painted as is or replaced, depending on how you want to finish. I dont think any other panels will need replaced, maybe some repair though. The car is in primer right now. All the glass is in good shape except the front winshield has a "U" shaped cracked at the top center. It will be fine as is but will need replaced to make show quality. Interior - I have not done much with the interior also. It has new carpet and a new back dash liner. The seats have covers on them. The seats below the cover are solid but cracked. The dash is in very good shape. In the interior picture you can see the interior door panels are not on. These were removed to remove the exterior handles and mirrors. They are included and are in good shape. Drive Train - I have not done anything with the transmission besides replacing the fluid and filter. It shifts very smooth. The rear end has been rebuilt and has a new TA girdle. All new components for the rear breaks are included. They are still in the box. Tires are in very good shape. It has Crager SS wheels. The wheels have some pits and corrosion. A car cover is also included. It is being sold as is with no warranty. I require a $500 deposit within 48 hours and full payment within one week. If I get any more good questions I will make sure to post them. Hide away headlights - When I bought the car these worked but they would sag when sitting for a while with the car not running. I have not yet hooked them back up after I rebuilt the engine. The hoses and vacuum canister are still in place. They appear to be in good shape but I suspect there has to be a crack or leak in one of the hoses. I have also heard of people replacing vacuum control for the headlights with electronic controls and motors. I think this can be bought as a kit but I have not looked into it. Suspension - the rear axles has new shocks but besides that the suspension is factory Exterior Chrome Parts - all of the chrome is in good condition. Most of it is very bright and only need a good polishing before installing back on the car. The rear bumper has a small ding on the drivers side but may not be noticeable if you didnt know it was there.
