This is a very solid Ranger sedan lifetime CA car. Only rust on this car is on the trunk floor (due to trunk seal) and there is surface rust and a very small hole about the size of a nickel. Not expensive to fix. NO BODY/UNDERCARRIAGE ROT ANYWHERE! This car has been sitting many years, but has recently been run. Will need a carb rebuild, of course. But has new plugs, dist. and electronic ignition to replace the old points. Fresh oil and filter. NEW DOUBLE CHAMBER MASTER CYLINDER AND BRAKE BOOSTER. ALL WHEEL CYL. REBUILT As I said, this car has sat many years in the sun. It will need paint and a full interior. This is a car for restoration, not something that can be driven and used as is. However, your money will be well-spent as this car is very solid and straight. All stainless trim nice. Chrome not bad at all. AIR CONDITIONING AND POWER STEERING ON A RANGER! WOW! RARE BLUE INTERIOR. Most of these I have seen in this exterior color either have a black interior or black and gray. THE ENTIRE INTERIOR is available in the FACTORY MATERIAL from SMS AUTO FABRIC. This includes carpet, door panels, headliner, package tray and seat material. They sent me samples of all and they look great! I hate to part with this Edsel, but I have too many projects right now. Don't waste your money on a car that's full of Bondo. This car is wearing its ORIGINAL PAINT so there's nothing hiding to discover later on. PLEASE DO NOT ASK ME TO SELL PARTS OFF THIS EDSEL. IF THERE IS NO INTEREST, I WILL GLADLY KEEP IT AND FIX IT ANOTHER TIME. THIS CAR IS WAY TOO NICE TO BE CUT UP FOR PARTS AND THAT'S JUST NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. The inspection plate revealed the following: Body-58D (4dr sedan), Color-LE1 (Star Blue Metallic and Snow White Roof and accents), Trim- 24 (light and dark blue interior), Trans-3 (mile-o-matic 2speed), Axle-1 (3.10:1) and Date-22M.
