There were only 18 cars like this produced. When ever my uncle drove the car he wore the hat that is still in the trunk. As you can see he wrap the hat in plastic after every ride. That is also how he took care of his car. He loved that car. It was always garage kept and never driven in the snow. When he saw it at the Chicago Auto Show he wanted to buy it right then and their, however he found out it was brought in for the owner of a Mercury dealer. My Uncle called the dealer and talked them into selling him the car and he drove off in his pride and joy. This car belongs on the Beach.
