1990 Volkswagen Vanagon Westfalia Camper. Engine compartment was damaged by a fire. The engine was removed, the engine compartment was cleaned, sandblasted and painted white. Some of the rear of the van was also professionally painted white. The van does not have an engine installed. Comes with a good working 4 speed transmission and most of the rear wiring to complete a reinstall. The body is straight. The interior is complete and in good condition. The interior of the camper was not damaged by the fire. Th van has AC, power locks and windows, cruise control. Can be brought back to life by installing the stock VW motor or good candidate for a subaru or other engine conversion. Email with questions. In addition to the good usable 4spd transmission mentioned in the listing, this van will also come with the original fire damaged 2.1 stock engine as well as a second "parts" 2.1 engine. There are many items that come with the van that have been sourced from another wrecked westy. These items include tail light wiring, a/c wiring and hoses, the plastic grills that cover the intake openings on the rear sides. There are many items but i am sure it is NOT everything needed to replace the damaged engine bay. The items missing include the rear curtain, rear mattress pad. Items needing cleaning due to smoke are top corner of the back seat, inside the rear cabinet on the shelves and inside the poptop tent in spots. These smoke stains may or may not be able to be successfully cleaned. In an attempt full disclosure, this camper van is a non-running project vehicle. It has the potential to be a good running camper again but in it's current state, it is depending your your skill and or resources to be considered a big project. I realized that I do not have the time, personal skill or resources to bring this Westy back to life.
