This will be for 1959 Chevy Bel Air 4 door 6 cylinder. This piece of American history has a 235 cu. in 6 cylinder and a manual 3 speed on the column, non synchronized first gear. The numbers on the engine are F205A. The transmission numbers are GM 24. The rearend numbers are GM5 A218 3725899. This Bel Air is all original with ONLY 57,653 miles. The paint and body have not been touched. The car code is Style 59-1619, Body NW10725, Trim 49, Paint 963-F. Some surface rust is starting under some of the chrome. The trunk has some rust with a few small holes in the spare tire well and the front roll pan has a hole in the drivers side. The engine runs strong but will need refreshed. The transmission shifts very smooth. All brakes are good. The interior is in very good condition with the exception of a stain on the headliner. Dash looks very nice. All guages work as does the tube type AM radio. All glass is good with the windows working smooth. This car has manual steering and brakes. A new fuel pump, newer shocks,new battery and the gas tank was removed and cleaned with a poly liner. The tire and rims are not original and they are P205/75/R15 in good shape. The other owner had it stored for 10 years and some one keyed a name in the hood paint and down the drivers side door. Email me for a time for your inspection.
