I have a 1965 Mustang Fastback for sale! Its a real RED/RED 289 4V. 4 speed car!Its a numbers matching car! I purchased this car from the original owners family, His dad purchased vehicle new! My intention was to restore it back to its glory, but priorities have shifted. As you will see in the pics, I had the car all apart at one time ready for baking soda blasting to be done. Since then I have the fenders, doors, hood, trunk, etc back on the car. This is a prime virtually rust free car, I have EVERYTHING for the car, less the carpet now obviously and back bumper is missing. I even have the original gas cap!Car was all together when I purchased it, and I have done several high class restorations. This was going to be the next, and its in such great shape to start! It was built in San Jose, California and stayed there till the early 1970's then the family moved here to Arizona where it spent the rest of its life. The car was involved in a accident prior to coming to Arizona, the drivers side front fender and apron before the shock tower were changed out, as you will notice there is no Vin number on the drivers side apron. All work was done by a ford dealer back in the day, even has the ford stickers on the replacement panel. I had removed the passenger side fender to get the VIN off the car (see picture of VIN)Upon coming to Arizona, the car has to go thru inspection. When they didnt see the VIN# in the apron, they assigned a Arizona title with new number as they dont remove body parts back in the day to confirm VIN#. With that said, the Title is an Arizona title, but has a state issued Vin#. I was going to take the car down to inspection station here with fender removed and get the correct VIN on the title. Just havent gotten that far. The car comes with the title that Arizona Assigned back in the 1970's. If it were me, I would go get the correct vin on car, as opposed to the state issued ID. I can email copies of the title upon request. I can assist in loading the car, and possibly delivery here in Arizona at no charge.
