Vehicle Detail

1994 Mustang Cobra Indy Pace Car #301 of only 1000 ever built. This car is absolutely a collectors item. Don't know how many of these are still on the road, but I do know this is the best looking one I've ever seen. I have never seen a 94 Cobra Pace Car as classy looking as this one.... I have owned this car for over 11 years now and the wife says it's time to go. We have recently had a baby and have no more use for this vehicle. This absolutely beautiful and classy looking ride has been adult owned and driven since it was purchased new at Ford West in Bellflower California. I am the 3rd owner and have been babying this car since I bought it. It has always been garaged. That is part of the reason the wife wants me to sell it. We need the room in the garage. As you can see from the miles, the car only gets driven on weekends in nice weather. If I remember correctly, when I purchased this car in 2000 there were only 20K miles on it. This means it has been driven less than 3000 miles a year. I have seen many Cobra's out there and most of them look like they have been driven very hard and put away wet. I have tried very hard to keep this mustang looking very classy and not like a car that has been so modified it looks like a cheap kit. This Cobra turns heads everytime I take it for a drive. It is a California car and has absolutely no rust issues. INTERIOR: The Inside is spotless. The carpet is in perfect condition without any stains or holes. The dash has no cracks or imperfections to speak of. The steering wheel does have a couple of nicks on it. They have been touched up but are still slightly visible. The Ford Mach 460 Watt Stereo system including the single cd player work perfectly. There is some beautiful wood graingin around the clock, instrument panel, both door clusters, and stereo controls. It adds a very rich and classy feel. The boost and fuel gauges are not just bolted on the inside like most. These have been moulded on to the existing piece to look like they were part of the car new. There is a badge below the cd player that reads SVT 301/1000. It does have a Viper Alarm System that comes with a shock sensor. If someone reaches into the car when the top is down, the alarm will go off. There is a chip below the dash that has to be inserted in order to turn the ignition. I also put a Club on the steering wheel when I park it. One can never be too safe..... WHEELS: They are 18 inch Cobra one lug wheels. They are made to look like there is only one lug in the center when in fact there are 5 lugs under the center cap. The Tires are brand new. I put Nitto nt555's on the front and back. The rears are 285/35 ZR18 and the fronts are 245/40 ZR18. There are less than 2000 miles on these tires. The outside of the wheels are polished to a bright shine. This setup looks awesome...... TOP: The convertible top is original and in excellent conditon. There are no tears. Most of the cars life has been spent with this top down and the convertible hard cover on. The rear window is glass and not plastic. No problems with anything fading or wearing here. The rear window defrosters work perfectly. Both the pistons that work the convertible top were replaced less than a year ago. There are no issues with any of the seals of the convertible top leaking. They are all in great shape..... WINDOWS: All the glass on this Cobra is in perfect condition and all the windows are tinted. The back is pretty dark and the sides are more of a medium tint. The front windows only have a small strip across the top. All the tint is metallic tint with a lifetime guarantee from the manufacturer. There are no chips or cracks in the glass...... THE HOOD: The hood is the original hood that came with the car. Structually it is in perfect condition. Throughout the years the hood has picked up some chips. Rather than painting the entire hood, I had the chips on the front hood touched up by a professionall body shop. THE FRONT END: First of all, the headlights have been exchanged with very cool looking one piece lights on each side. Normally the Mustang comes with corner lights and head lights as seperate pieces. I spent a fortune having these custom lights installed. The billet grill was done custom to include the factory Cobra emblem. The entire front bumber cover has been professionlly repainted to get rid of rock chips from the road. It was done by a company that works out of a local Mercedes Benz Dealership. I wanted to make sure they did a good job. It looks awesome. The front fog lights are in working conditon..... THE HARD COVER & ROLL BAR: This hard cover hardly ever leaves the back of the Cobra. It was custom painted to match the Car and looks Incredible. The part directly behind the seats is black and the rest of the cover is red to match the car. There is a strap that buckles into the rear seatbelts to hold the cover in place making it very secure. There is one small nick on the back side of the cover. The roll bar is in excellent condition. It has a long brake light built into it. The lights all work. Once again, the roll bar adds a nice touch...... THE BACK END: On the left side of the back end is a Indianapolis 500 Symbol. All the tailights and brake lights work perfecltly. The exhaust pipes have been placed slightly at an angle outward to avoid any contact with the low profile tires. The rear spoiler is original. The back lights are all red and blend nicely with the paint of the car..... UNDER THE HOOD: MSD Ignition. 80MM Pro Flow Mass Air Flow Sensor. 75MM BBK Throttle Body. Flowzilla Kenny Bell Supercharger. 5.0L V8 Cobra Motor. Ford Racing Spark Plug Wires. The injectors were changed out for larger injectors. I honestly don't remember how many lbs. I think they were between 40 and 50 lb injectors. I had Superior Automotive in Anaheim CA dial it all in using a Diablo Chip that is reprogrammable. If there are any other modifications made to the Cobra, the Diablo Chip can be reprogrammed instead of replaced. There is a timing retard nob that sits in the ashtray compartment. You can advance or retard the timing as needed. The car hit the Dino at just over 400HP. Not bad for only bolt on mods. It has a Bassani X Pipe Exhaust with Pro Flow Mufflers. It has a very nice throaty sound that isn't too loud to drive all the time. This Cobra is not modified to be a Race Car. All of the modifications were done at a shop and have only added about 100 horespower to the stock motor. Like I said earlier, it is a very classy adult driven Mustang. It does have plenty of power to get out of its own way when needed...... SUPSENSION: Lowered with Iboc springs and the frame is reinforced. SMOG: The plates on the car are currently expired. The tags have been paid so there are no penalties involved. I just didn't feel like jumping through the hoopes to get it smogged again in California. You will be responsible for smogging the car in your state. ALSO INCLUDED: 1 standard convertible cover. The original window sticker with the purchase price of $35000. A mustang magazine with the Indy Pace Car on the cover. 2 original Mustang Cobra Pamphlets showing the original Cobra Indy Pace Car specs. A certificate from Ford stating this car is #301 of 1000 Pace Cars built. I am trying to be as descriptive as possible with the car because I absolutely love this Mustang. It is very unique from every other Mustang out there and turns heads all the time. It will only go up in Value as the years go on. Not only because it looks great but because it is a numbered car. As the years pass there will be less and less of these cars on the road. Here is a opportunity for you to own a great looking Cobra at a fraction of the price. Bid with confidence. I have 100% positive feedback including two other cars I owned personally. Any questions, please feel free to contact me....... Forgot to mention that the radiator has been changed out to a High Performance Three Row Champion Radiator...... Thank you for your interest and good luck bidding.....
