You're bidding on an almost 100% original 1973 Land Rover Series III 88" model. This car was purchased in San Diego, CA in 1973 and then bought from the original owner in 1977. It has stayed with my wife's family ever since 1977 and is a garaged vehicle. My wife's family used it as a weekend fun vehicle and it was not used for off-road. The 91k miles are original and so is most of the vehicle. Any parts that have been replaced on the vehicle were replaced with original ones...when possible. In the last couple of years the radiator has been repaired, the carburetor rebuilt, new tires, some new dip switches, and a new washer bottle. The vehicle is rust free and has been garaged since 1977. The vehicle runs and drives but there is some top end noise and like most British vehicles, it does leak a bit. There are several cool extras including the tropical roof, the 1942 Willys trailer, an extra seat, the original manuals and "passport", some other nuts/bolts/seals. The vehicle's name is "Grover the Rover" and the trailer's name is "Cleveland". Please contact me with any questions or clarifications.
