1971 Honda Trail CT70 VIN CT70-255175 Engine - 72cc 3 Speed Semi-Automatic Transmission CT70E-254895 1971 Honda CT70 3 speed automatic. Appears all original except for the (CHP aftermarket) seat. I've also replaced the battery and air cleaner. Runs and shifts great. Paint and decals are in surprisingly good shape for 40 years of age. Handlebars are a little tweaked however most of the bike is in nice straight shape. The left handlebar knob is free however the right one seems froze. May need a little PBblaster or some such to help free it up. The exhaust is good without any visible rust. Tires appear OEM therefore are weather checked, cracked, worn and ready for replacement. Brake and headlights work. Horn is intermittent. In checking the pictures you may have noticed the headlight casing has slight damage on the upper part where the headlight attaches to the shell. Please be advised it appears a PO bonded the chrome headlight ring to the plastic shell to keep it in place. Included wtill be a complete OEM tool kit and owner's manual! Title - appears no title was ever issued to this bike as it came with its original manufacturer's statement of origin. It was signed by the selling dealer and notarized however hasn't been touched since. If a title is desired please check with your state or local laws about the process of acquiring one.
