Vehicle Detail
For sale is a 1967 Buick GS factory 4 spd car. Matching number engine and transmission. Car runs and drives. Car has bucket seat interior with console for shifter. Transmission is a Muncie M20 wide ratio. Rear axle is a factory 10 bolt posi with 3.36 gears. Engine is 400 cubic inch, matcing id(vin #) on engine. The stampings are faint but are visible and legible on the deck. Engine has Edelbrock performer manifold. Trans has been rebuilt and has less than 1000 mi on since rebuild. Car was last registered in 2003. The car is a manual steering, manual brake car, non A/C, no power options, just a 400 with a 4spd bucket seats and a posi rear. Frame is solid, needs trunk floor. The floors are starting to show signs of rust through and would probably need to be replaced for full restoration but are solid enough for a driver. Fenders and left quarter are solid. Right quarter must have been in an accident many years ago, there is bondo along the quarter. A big chunk of it has come off and is shown in a picture. Car is originally red with black interior. I have owned the car 15+ years. Feel free to ask any questions. On Sep-30-11 at 14:45:45 PDT, seller added the following information: I wanted to add this so there was no confusion. Door bottoms are totally solid no bondo. Dr side rocker has a six inch area behind the front fender with some bondo. I use a flexible magnet from say a telephone book cover. it wont stick to the six inch area but a slighty stronger magnet will stick so it is a skim coat of bondo in that area and not a rotted mudded up rocker. Pass side door bottom and rocker are totally all metal and solid. I havent driven the car on the road since 2003. Now I just start it up once in a while to move it around the yard. I have been using a 1 gal jug placed on the core support with gasoline and fuel lines to the pump to move the car. I have not wanted to put fuel in the tank because it has been sitting a while. I would suggest taking the tank out and have it boiled and cleaned before driving it again. I rebuilt the trans probably 13 yrs ago, new clutch ,pressure plate etc. I took the shifter apart and cleaned all the plates. The car shifts fine. Everything was done many yrs ago, but it was hardly driven.
