FORD MODEL A PICKUP You are bidding on a 1928/1929 Ford Model A pickup truck. We bought this from a 90 year old man who used this for many years farming. We have many projects going and need to let it go to someone else. It has the original flathead 4 cyl engine & transmission, complete steering, cowel, and suspension including clutch and brake pedals. The frame has a few cracks in it but could be repaired. He bolted a piece of steel between the cracks as shown in the pictures. He used it to pull logs occasionally so he replaced the rearend with a heavier duty one with dual tires and added a 2nd transmission so he could put the original transmission in 1st gear and have a 2nd transmission to seriously increase his pulling power. Brackets for additional transmission support are bolted in. I never tried to start the engine, but was told it ran fine the last time it was driven many years prior. The radiator is not original either. What is in the pictures is everything it comes with. Good Luck on this very cool piece of history!
