Vehicle Detail

Note: car is being re-listed due to buyer not having sufficient funds...don't bid unless you have the funds. If you have to get a loan approved to buy this car-then please don't bid. Thank you. Ultra rare MoPar in fantastic condition-my rare 1966 Imperial Crown Convertible; one of 514 made. This car is in great running and driving condition...total new brake system, new tires, belts/hoses, battery, full tune up (filters/points/wires, etc). 440 V-8, and 727 torque-flight. Totally unmolested, never rusted. All lights, gauges, windows, etc, function. Factory A/C works. Radio, power antenna, power seats, electric locks. radio, etc, all function as they should. Never tried the auto pilot, but it is fully intact. Both rear window motors are very weak/slow-needs replacement/rebuilt. Beautiful Spanish red lacquer paint, over a rust free body, beautiful gleaming chrome and stainless. No dings/dents anywhere. Perfect canvas roof. Top goes up and down quickly and smoothly. I just installed a set of NOS 1966 original Imperial hubcaps (rare as hen's teeth-and not cheap, of course they will go with the car). One of the best examples of this make/model extant. Ask questions; you will look long and hard to find a car of this caliber. Car is ready to drive; make an appointment to see and drive it in person! Clear blue Texas title in my name. Original owners manual/certicard, intact. I have been a member of the E-bay community for 7 plus years, I have 96 feedbacks, 100% positive. I have sold 8 cars on E-bay and have always exceeded the buyer's expectations...this car is no different. Take the time to read my feedback. Spot on description and accurate pictures tell the story. I am selling the car because I own several Imperials. The reserve is significantly lower than the buy it now; and if the car does not meet it's modest reserve, I would be willing to listen to offers/deal with the high bidder. Enjoy! On Oct-02-11 at 08:34:08 PDT, seller added the following information: I have lowered the buy it now to 19.5K. This is a fantastic buy. As a I was backing out of the garage yesterday morning-I chipped the paint (size of a dime) right above the upper left corner of the pass side rear wheel well molding. I also mangled the molding on the corner of the garage. I had a nice spare molding in my parts stock (imagine that!)-so it has been replaced. I also touched up the chip with matching spanish red touch up paint, no metal damage. Not visible from 3 feet, but it would need to be professionally touched up to be perfect. Again, a great buy here-if you need chassis pics, ask. I have plenty and they show how nice the car is. It never ceases to amaze me what people will pay from dealers on these cars. This car is superior to the blue one that was just on ebay in Florida and sold for 23,500. That car supposedly had a 50K restoration, yet it had the wrong trunk lid, wrong hubcaps, improper engine and trunk compartments. Go figure!
