1946 Chevy Grain truck with hydraulic lift. I bought this truck on 10/12/2002 from a farmer who owned this vehicle for a number of years. I don't know if he was the original owner or not, but he kept it in good running shape, used it on his farm and it was driven in local parades. I used it on my farm about 5 times over the last 9 years. I live about 250 miles from the farm so am not an active farmer, I just used it to haul fence posts and trips to the landfill. All hydraulics work, engine is not the original engine, I was told it is a 1958 chevy 6 cylinder. Engine runs good. There is very little body damage. The brakes had been replaced prior to my purchase and they work good, but grab and jerks to a stop. Air Conditioning supplied by the roll out front windshield and roll down windows that all operate fine. The interior needs work and the "under the dash" heater is detached but is available as a part. I don't know if the heater works or not. The truck has been stored inside ever since I purchased it. I have not started it in the last 4 years so it needs a new battery, which I will supply and make sure the truck starts and runs. The pictures depict a carpet on the floorboard. The carpet has been removed. The floorboard is metal and the battery is located under the passenger side of the floorboard. The mileage shown in this listing is the mileage shown on the title. I do not believe that is accurate but Kansas exempts antique vehicles from mileage requirements. The truck is located in a small town between Dodge City and Great Bend, Kansas. For sale as is, buyer responsible for arranging their own delivery of the vehicle.
