Vehicle Detail
Let me tell you a little about this Hurst Legend! This auction is for a, very nice 1969 Hurst Olds Parade CONVERTIBLE copy. This strikingly gorgeous, GM muscle car is ready to go! If you are in the market for a car that gets all the looks, top down cruising, and a fantastic investment this is the one. I personally have driven this car to numerous car shows, trouble free. This automobile has been restored top to bottom, front to back. It was in storage for twenty years before the restoration process began. The motor, transmission, and rear end have been gone through and rebuilt to specs. Front and rear bumpers professionally re-chromed and straightened. She still has the orinigal quarter panels! Thousands of dollars in parts and labor receipts. The paint is clean and void of any unpleasant marks. The imperfections are very minor to almost none. It was painted in base coat clear coat, Cameo white with Firefrost gold stripes, and black pinstripe. All the over spray is in the right places, just like from the Hurst factory. A huge twin snorkel air scoop, special racing dual side mirrors, Hurst his and hers shifter, and a rear deck spoiler really set this car apart from the other Muscle Cars. Good solid exhaust gives the H/O 455 cid engine a beautiful deep rumble out of the chrome stock trumpet tips. T3 headlights and Hurst wheels complete the original look of this classic Parade car beauty. It's the little things that add to this vehicle's uniqueness, like the big block 455, AM/FM radio, power top, power steering, tic toc tac, and power disc brakes that make it a dream to drive and operate. The vinyl seats, door panels, carpet, top and pads are all new. Rear top curtain is also new. Correct Firefrost gold stripe on each headrest. Hurst Olds badge on glove box door too. It also has a very rare 69 only sport steering wheel. A test drive of this vehicle revels outstanding handling and great road worthiness! Void of rattles, squeaks, and road noise, under carpet sound deadening was used before the carpet was installed. This is a very solid car that I have driven only for most of the break in miles. Over all this car has been pampered since restoration and is in great condition. It is a real show stopper! It has won" best of show" on one outing. She is close to a perfect 1 car. This is the neatest car I have ever owned, the coolest car ever out of Detroit. (notice the Hurst side decals) Only two or three 1969 Hurst parade cars were ever made. I would rate this automobile a clean 9 to a 9.25 out of a 10.00, because I would prefer to undersell her and give you more as opposed to over selling her and handing you less.
