The car received a full frame off restoration when he purchased the car. There is almost $15k in receipts from the restoration in 1988. This car has been primarily stored and only driven 2,000 miles in the past 23 years! I have way too many other things going on and can never find the time to fully appreciate and enjoy this classic work of art. I drove her 4 times this year for a total of 200 miles. She deserves a happy home where she can get out now & then to let the ponies sing. The most recent (2010) updates have been the installation of a new fuel tank/electric fuel pump, new weather-stripping and a new battery. This car has been kept as close to original as possible. Still have the original owner’s manuals, floor mats, and T-Top bags. This car really is clean and in excellent condition for being over 40 years old. There are no major issues or hidden problems. The paint on this car is very deep and rich with only a few minor chips. The car was professionally appraised this summer (June 2011) and a conservative value was set at $25,000+. Like most collector cars it is “not new off the showroom floor” and there are minor things that need tweaking to put the car to 100%. The stereo was once replaced with a JVC cassette player, the original radio has been put back in the car. It should work fine, but the speakers are not connected.
