Vehicle Detail

Nice CAR with lots of chrome ! ON this auction I have a 1978 Cougar XR-7. It was my Brother's car, and he is recently deceased. I am now the title holder, as I am the Estate representative, and the Title is in my name, so there will be no problems getting the title. He was in the process of restoring this car, and there is a lot of chrome parts that are included in this. The rear passenger quarter panel was recently redone before his death, due to someone hitting the car in the side. Other than that the body needs finished, there is some surface rust along the bottom, but other than that it look pretty solid, and you are buying the car AS IS WITH NO GUARATEES OR WARRANTIES. I will try to describe the car as best I can. I did drive it to where it is stored (inside). It probably needs a tune-up, but there are a lot of new parts, that come with it that will probably help tremendously. I will list it this LAST time with the parts and so forth, and if it doesn't make the reserve price, I will sell the separately, and sell the car the way it sits, without the extra parts, etc. Anyway back to the car, It has a 302 V-8 engine, automatic transmission, factory air conditioning, white interior that is in pretty decent condition ( some cracking on the seams of the stitching), new professionally installed dual exhaust with glass packs and performance tips, five-spoke aluminum wheels with practically new Tiger Paw Uniroyal radial tires, and the repaired quarterpanel. The trim was not put back on the passenger side, but it is all there as far as I know, and the trim around the windshield was removed, and I believe it is also there. The rest of the NEW parts are as listed: Edelbrock Torker II 302 intake manifold (painted Ford Blue) Edelbrock Performer 600cfm carb, with electric choke (BRAND NEW) Chrome Oil pan w/bolts (BRAND NEW) Chrome Transmission pan w/ bolts (BRAND NEW) Ford Racing valve covers & cap w/gaskets and Chrome T bolts (BRAND NEW) Chrome Spark plug Wire loom, and new plug wires Chrome bolts, and some wire covers There is also some chrome on the motor already including the alternator, oilfilter cover, fuel pump, coil, battery tie downs, and some braided hoses. He also put a "scoop" on the hood, which is probably fiberglass ? It also has the trim that was taken off in the trunk of the car, along with all the emblems, and trim brackets. And also there is a new carpet kit that comes with it, and a gear drive kit. He told me that there was a leak in the gas tank, and I don't think it has been repaired, and the gas gauge appears to not work. Other than that I THINK that about everything else works. As I mentioned I didn't do any of the work to it, and I am just trying to settle the estate. If there are any other questions, please email me BEFORE THE AUCTION IS CLOSE TO CLOSING, as it is not stored at my house, so I will have to go look at the car to answer any questions. I will need to have $500 down within 48 hours of the auction closing and the rest when the car is picked up, NO EXCEPTIONS. I would prefer cash, but will accept Paypal for the downpayment.
